"I appreciated the positive nature of the owner and his willingness to answer my questions and to assure I had as good stay. The facilities are a little tired and in need of an upgrade, but everything worked as it should, the room was pretty clean, and the rates were the fairest around. Plus if you like to walk, you can access many of Abilene’s coolest spots from the Diamond Motel. I would definitely stay here again. I usually stay at hotels near I70, but there’s not a lot to walk to from there....

"The room was clean, water pressure in shower was amazing! But for a “suite” the room is very lack luster, bed was okay, but the room linens were something you’d find at a motel 6, and by no means I’m not knocking motel 6, it’s economy, and that’s okay. I just assumed since it was a suite, it was above economy status. Amenities were good, and staff were polite. But next time I stay in Salina KS, I will choose a different hotel."
