"Good communication and 15 minute walk to old town. Very comfortable bed. Didn’t state there was a washing machine which I was very pleased about when I arrived! Cutlery and pans weren’t 100% clean and there is a chopping knife for food missing but apart from that, great little place. Early check out at 9:30 but the host allowed me to stay until 10:00."

"A lovely place to stay! The room is spotless, the lobby is comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding. The only minor drawback is that you need a taxi or will have to drive to the old town; the distance is too far to be walkable. Front desk staff can readily call a taxi, however -- and to return to the hotel, you just walk to the train station to find a cab."

We had a wonderful experience at the Nicolaus Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well taken care of. The free shuttle from the airport was a huge plus and made our arrival stress-free.
The room was spacious enough for our family, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well. Even the little things were thoughtfully done – we absolutely loved the soap!
Now, the breakfast… hands down the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were so many choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties – something for everyone, and everything was delicious.
We also appreciated that there were plenty of good food options just a short walk up the road, which made dining out super convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!"
