"Perfect location to explore Connemara and a lovely property, beautifully renovated for a most comfortable stay. Lovely hosts with great suggestions and a playful dog to make us feel at home. We particularly loved fly fishing at Ballynahinch Castle (Hugh as our guide), exploring the Killary fjord area (scenic cruise was nice) and Kylemore Abbey, the ferry to Aran islands. The seafood at O’Grady’s was delicious yet also try the beef and lamb in this region…outstanding!! We got groceries at the Costcutters to cook our own amazing steak burgers. We came here after Dingle; loved both but particularly the rugged beauty of the Connemara. "

"We had a wonderful week in Connemara. Janet and Michael have thought of everything to make a stay in their beautiful safari tents as luxurious as possible. They were incredibly helpful during our stay too, assisting with the use of their broadband for an online job interview. Riley, their dog, is gorgeous and was definitely the highlight for our teenage daughters. For myself it was bathing under the stars that will stick in my memory. The area is stunningly beautiful, unfortunately the weather didn't facilitate days on the beautiful beaches but"
