While the staff was fabulous, the room itself was difficult. The room made us feel very uncomfortable. Topping it off was the bathroom/shower area. It felt incredibly voyeuristic because the area was in the bedroom and had glass walls with widely spaced louvers through which we could see into the bedroom while using the toilet. The shower and bathroom had awful drainage, with all shower water flowing into the bathroom without any stoppage. The shower/bathroom were also configured so that we had to walk through the actual shower to get to the toilet and sink. It was so strange. Plus, the AC wasn’t very good.

The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. ..."
