What a charming property. An old inn so it should be expected it is not modern but has been sensitively maintained. Staff were helpful and the manager was very hospitable. Food was exceptional. If you want a more traditional stay in a lovely location within the Lakes I would recommend

Perfect stay

A nice bijou room tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was very good too. We had an evening meal at night and would highly recommend booking ahead too.

Warm cosy room with great views. Fantastic breakfast and dinner the evening before in an atmospheric traditional pub. Great friendly staff and in a great location.
