"Mike was very helpful and told us about the glaciers that we could see out his front door. The views were excellent of the bay and glaciers when it was clear out. It was very nice to sit by the kitchen table with Mike and discuss the area as it was all new to us."

"The home is lovely, the surrounding area is mostly left to nature for the animals. We saw a moose and her twins in their driveway and parking lot. The next morning there was a moose bedded down in the front yard! Anna and Byron serve a beautiful breakfast with homemade healthy bread. Delicious! We hope to return next year. Will definitely reserve early, view is GORGEOUS!"

"My friend came for a visit from California. Homer is one of my "happy places" & was a must visit while in Alaska! Pam and I had a wonderful time in Homer and with our host, Michael. He made us feel at home and we shared some enjoyable conversations. He helped get us reservations for dinner at the Fresh Catch Cafe (which was also excellent). I would definitely recommend staying with Michael at the Good Karma Inn. Loved the strong coffee and breakfast! Thank you Michael!"

"We will be back! Not only was the room very nice and clean, the setting was great! And to the wine was delicious - definitely make time to do the wine tasting if you stay here. The brand new mural in the room was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful, grounds very nice and feeding the fish in the koi pond right outside the unit was a nice touch too! We will be back!"

"Do use this facility. Host forgot/thought i cancelled. Ck in is 3pm. Called host since no ck instructions sent she did not respond. I called host she said 2 things to me i thouhht you were coming tomorrow, next comment, i thought you cancelled. We made arrangements (since she was not home) to ck in at 6pm got there at 645 she was still not there... called her again she asked could we please go to dinner. So i ended up taking all 6 family members out. Finished dinner 1.25 hours later she still...

"When we arrived the property seemed older than we thought from pictures and the inside is dated. However, the inside is very personalized by the owner and is very unique and was quite comfortable. If you think about visiting a remote cabin in Alaska, this is it. If you want a modern home with newer amenities this is not the place. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider it again. I do wish they had a better freezer situation for fish but with 7 of us fishing it still worked out...

"My family and I were down in anchor point for a work / family time and this cabin was so cute and comfortable , it is centrally located to everything you need , close to the town of Homer. The interior of the cabin looks like a professional designer dreamed it up very clean and inviting. The towels and linens where of high quality and they thought of everything from robes to board games and puzzles.it wasn’t in the property description but they did have good internet and offer plenty of tv...
