"Ein ehemaliges Jagdhaus wurde vor kurzem zu 4 ganz tollen Wohnungen ausgebaut. Ich habe schon mehrere sehr nette Gastgeber kennengelernt, aber noch nie jemanden, der mit so viel Freude und echter guter Laune diesen Job ausfüllt! Offensichtlich hat er sich seinen Traum erfüllt und kann es kaum glauben, wie schön alles geworden ist! Zum Frühstück gibt es Baguette, Schinken o.ä. vom lokalen Fleischer, mehrere leckere Käsesorten, selbstgemachte Marmelade und oft noch einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen....

"I travel a lot! This was by far the best hotel I have ever experienced. I was honestly blown away from the minute I arrived until I walked out the door. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! The food and drinks were exceptional and the view was incredible. This hotel is worth every penny and then some! I am extremely impressed "

"It was a privilege to stay in this hotel. Wonderful architecture and characterful accommodation. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. If you like bland custom built corporate chain hotels this is not for you. But if you would like a unique experience and to know that by staying you are helping to fund its renovation then the Grand Hotel de l’Abbaye will suit you very well."
"Excellent service. The room was clean and in very good condition, but very cramped and impossible to access both sides of the bed.
The bathroom was equally small, but was very clean and the shower was excellent.
There was plenty of secure parking and the breakfast was good."
