Charming 1920's House - pet friendly, 45 minutes from beach & attractions!

"This is a beautiful home from 1925 that has been immaculately restored. It has a gorgeous updated kitchen and updated restrooms. We were in town for a baseball tournament with two moms and two teenage boys. It’s about 8 minutes from Boombah. The area coming up to the home is older, but we felt very safe the entire time. It’s walkable to the older historic district near the water, but it’s much easier to drive. Very close to a Winn Dixie and a Publix on the way to the fields. PROS:Comfy beds, great well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, exceptionally clean, beautifully cared for, covered parking, AC worked great (FL is hot in July!) THINGS to CONSIDER (these aren’t cons, just stuff I didn’t realize: (1) There are two full bathrooms. However, only one bathroom is on the floor with the three bedrooms. This bathroom has one sink and a tub. The second bedroom is downstairs and through the kitchen and laundry room. It’s a 100 year old home, so not a surprise but just something to consider. I didn’t catch this in the description! (2) the room with the twin beds is very small. The trundle really doesn’t even pull out all the way. If you need that space for teenagers or more than one adult, it would be a challenge. Totally fine for small kids. Overall, a great house. Great host. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Our 12-person crew had an absolutely fantastic stay at Gator Mansion! This six-bedroom, five-bath beauty had more than enough space to comfortably support all of us—no one ever felt cramped or short on room. The layout was ideal, and the A/C was a total lifesaver—cool and crisp on both floors, even in that signature hot and humid Central Florida weather.The kitchen was a dream for our group meals—fully stocked with everything we needed to whip up breakfast and dinner with ease. Every bathroom was clean, well-kept, and super convenient for such a large group. No waiting in line, no awkward scheduling—just smooth sailing.We also brought a couple of furry friends along, and the property was spacious enough to give them some great little walks and outdoor time, which we really appreciated.Highly recommend Gator Mansion if you’re rolling deep and want comfort, space, and cool vibes all under one roof. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful, well kept, clean, property. The bed was awesome and loved the shower. It was wonderful they had the basics there: laundry soap, dish soap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner...Very close to downtown Sanford (4 blocks) and so many wonderful eating options!! And we took a day trip to the beach, which was less than an hour drive. Owners were courteous and available. Definitely recommend this place!!!"

"I stayed in the Luxury RV for the past 3 miles months while I was working nearby. The host, and his family, were excellent hosts and were constantly checking to make sure I had all my needs met. I sincerely hope that I can return to stay again in the future!"
"The view from the back of the house is pretty of lake Jesup. The airboat ride next door was awesome with Captain Duey. The wildlife is amazing. The house is spacious enough and beds were comfortable. Needs a little TLC and some cleaning issues need to be addressed. Hosts was very accommodating and fast to respond."

"We enjoyed our stay in this simple and spacious rental. It had a few flaws but nothing a normal house wouldn’t have. We wanted quiet, check. Wanted space, check. Wanted a nice view of water without paying too much, check check. It’s older but has some updates. I’d replace the wood panel but at the same time it brings old world charm, which I kinda liked. In all, we were happy."
