"The area where this property is located is kind if run down with nothing scenic about it. At first glance the motel is a bit tired. However, we found the room to be very clean, the staff cordial and helpful, and given the location near the highway and exit from a large truck stop, quieter than expected. For upscale dining you have to go to another exit. We were in transit and this place was great for that purpose. "

"We had a great stay at magic lake! We have no complaints other than not enough time. The host was so gracious and helpful. The house is full equipped with everything we needed and more. A wonderful binder was left that answered many questions. It’s not a far walk/drive into town for amazing food, coffee, and drinks. Or a quick drive to the beach. The view was picturesque. It was lovely to sit at the large dinning room table or on the deck with friends, enjoy an amazing meal while taking in the view. Kristin thank for hosting us, we made so many great memories during our stay"

"My room was clean, as well as the rest of the property inside and outside. Nice indoor pool although I did not use it. Breakfast was OK, but there are nearby breakfast places. I would stay here again."
