The gentleman upon check in was nice. I had came from a very late shift and no other hotel was available or they were charging outrageous prices for early morning check in. I only paid $25 for an early check in at around 7 am. The room was clean and I had no issues. For those who prefer something quiet, the hotel guest were not rowdy or loud. I would say the establishment is next to some late night restaurants. Noise from there was occasional so just take that into account but it didn’t bother me.

The property itself is in decent condition. Could use updating. Room was nice. Cozy beds. Ample bathroom space for two people. Good location for where we needed to be for our business obligations but otherwise not the greatest area. The Chilis restaurant next door was super convenient for take out but the parking lot was extremely loud with people late at night. I will not return to this hotel due to one reason. The front desk attendant was extremely rude. Like, extremely disrespectful. No “hello.” No “welcome in.” No “how are you?” Simply loud and aggressive ,“You can’t check in until 3:00. Come back at 3:00.” Mind you it was 2:45 and we had just spent 3.5 hours in the car. There was exactly one other vehicle in the parking lot. Not exactly a stampede trying to get a room. A simple, “ Hello, how are you? Checking in? I’ll be happy to get you settled at 3:00 as company policy doesn’t allow me to check anyone in early” would have sufficed. Instead we were met with hostility. Also not everyone likes walking through a wall of smoky incense in the lobby. People with allergies, sinus issues, and sensitivities to smells can feel sick in that environment. But that probably wouldn’t have bothered me so much if we had been treated with an ounce of kindness.
