We went at the end of winter so it was not busy and the restaurant was not open, our room was nice! I can see it being so fun in the summer time!

We had the unfortunate luck to stay at the Alpena Ramada during a disaster--major ice/snow storm! Due to this, it was impossible to keep the parking lot and sidewalks cleared. We also lost power for several hours, losing heat, etc. This hotel was the only hotel in the area that had a generator so for that we were lucky. We could charge cell phones, minimal use of microwave, and stay comfortable. The staff did everything in their power to accommodate their guests and did it with a smile. I hope to use this sight again when conditions are not so stressful.

Breakfast was just basics like cereal, bagels, & pastries. It was within walking distance from the lake and the views were just beautiful. There’s only one person working the desk for the entire property so she seemed a little overwhelmed but still friendly. The rooms were comfortable, but those walls are paper thin. Our neighbor’s tv was on all night long and you could hear every bit of it but somehow still managed to sleep through it. Overall it was a good last minute stay for us!

Pat was great, we had a nice time. There were lots of turtles not many fish. It is early in the season so we didnt spend much time outside. A little spring spruce up and she will be perfect for summer fun. Thank you for your hospitality. Would consider staying again if you would have us.

The house is beautiful, great layout with plenty of space for a large group. The game room is great, we stayed busy all weekend. The beds were comfortable, one strange request was for us to bring our own pillows. There were some areas that could have been cleaned better, there were a few broken plug ...
