The room smelled terrible. We had to be moved. The rest of the second floor had a slightly stale smell. We had not encountered this on previous stays.

No pool. They have no tv guide. It is assinine. All you can do is flick between channels, comercials. There are other services other than Rogers. If they won't fix it, cancel it. Roku would also work, and most likely will be cheaper. When you are old, and tired from work, tv is the only time killer. Everything else was good, but most lokely will look for a hotel with a workable tv for future business trips.

Decent room. Though the room had the smell of a wet dog when we initially walked in. We opened the patio doors to air it out for few hrs after that it seemed fine.

We had originally booked for an event in Barrie and this location was very close to the Georgian theater. The following day we did go to Blue Mountain and it was a very short drive. Although the hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside, the rooms were clean and well appointed. What really stood out was the stuff who were really friendly and did a great job with check-in and breakfast.

Property is fairly dated. Rug in the room was old… but looked older. Mattress looked relatively new and was quite comfortable, and we’re both “fussy”. Breakfast (included) was good, as was the the coffee. There was a bit of a surprise when we checked in as we didn’t see anywhere on Expedia or Quality’s site about the $25 pet “cleaning” charge.
