"We stayed at the Shoreham prior to the pandemic. Although we loved the hotel, the rooms were in need of updating. I’m happy to report that the hotel has gone through a remodel and the room are much improved. The hotel is located in Woodley Park which is a more residential area. But, it's a short metro ride (or about a 4 mile walk) to the mall. Plus, there are many restaurants close by. We love Open City for breakfast. The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s a throw back to days gone by and it’s particularly beautiful during the holiday season. I highly recommend the Omni Shoreham. "

" Room was clean and the whole property was very nice. Breakfast was great. My only issue was in room 910 the bed was literally right up against the vent/ furnace it was making a rustling sound all night right next to my head making difficult to get decent sleep and the vent was blowing directly on my face. My daughter and I both woke up with sore throats. It should be considered to change the layout of that room or fix the noise coming from the furnace/ vent and fix the vent to be able to close completely if you can't change the layout. I really wanted to love this experience but this was hard to overlook. "

"Great stay! Solid free breakfast and and good, hot coffee as well. Location is good 10-15 min walk to Rosslyn metro. They also have a shuttle every half hour. Quiet and comfy room. Highly recommend. "
