"A very clean gîte with a modern refurbished interior to a good standard in the heart of the countryside but within 20 minutes from Bergerac and in the heart of the Bastille towns area with Castillonnès literally a five minute drive down the road. "This is by any definition a magnificent property and it it is so beautiful and so well managed that any criticisms feel like nit picking. The staff cannot do enough, the rooms a lovely and the property itself is unforgettable. The only complaint is that the rooms are exceedingly dark and they would do well to either provide higher wattage bulbs or install reading lights on the beds. "
