"The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. The sauna was great and got nice and hot. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The hosts were very quick to respond."

"This property is awesome - everybody (ages 12 to 75) in our group had a great time - the layout is really nice with the hot tub & sauna on the bottom floor with access to the outdoors and bedrooms for the teens down the corridor. "We had a fantastic time staying at the Timbuktu Chalet. The location is great - very close to multiple ski areas, incredible hiking, and lake Superior destinations. The place itself was clean, no fuss, kitchen was fully stocked, and we made use of both the hot tub and sauna! Aaron was a fantastic host, and even gave us homemade jam as a Christmas surprise."

"The chalet was exactly as advertised. There is plenty of room for everyone. We liked that there were plenty of extra supplies that people normally forget (tinfoil, garbage bags, etc.). The Nintendo and ping pong table kept the kids busy. The one negative is that the cabin echoes A LOT. You can definitely hear whomever wakes up first. That, though, would not keep us from coming back."

"Came up to the UP for a weekend ski trip and this year despite the lack of snow had a good day of skiing at Snow River in sweatshirts! The campfire Lodge was perfect for our family of 6. The bedrooms are close together upstairs, which is fine for a family and great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and the dining area was great for playing cards. Loved having a large sectional so we could all laugh about our day. We will definitely come back. Location is perfect at Powderhorn...
