Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel offers a good breakfast too. There is no charge to park at the hotel which is an advantage. The bedrooms and corridors are dated but having said that we had a very comfortable stay.

A lovely setting, only stopped one night, booked it for visiting British masters at the Belfry, ideal and lovely clean room , can't speak about food , we didn't eat , but plenty in the dining room were Top marks 👌

The hotel was okay for my one-night stop. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. My reason for leaving an ‘okay’ review is that in many areas the room and building generally need an overhaul. The bathroom in particular would benefit from attention, with items such as missing sealant and evidence of some mould in the shower. I must say the staff were fantastic though, very helpful and attentive. The setting next to the canal is nice.

Not bad for an overnight stay. The staff were great. Classic pub food. The room was cold, and the heating off, there was no hairdryer and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. But if you are looking for somewhere cheap to crash out overnight, with an affordable dining option, it is good for one night (and a short drive from the NEC)

Definitely worth a stay

Really surprised by the hotel when I arrived the lovely setting next to the canal, nice bar restaurant. Rooms are adequate for a business stay. Bed was slightly form for my liking but that is personal preference. Would stay again when in town for business

We went to horse of the year show which was 9 miles away ,we wanted a hotel away from city centre,had a lovely view of the canal , lovely staff even printed out my tickets for the show ,great buffet breakfast and not expensive

This is such a lovely property, and the staff are wonderful. There are areas which could benefit from refurbishment but this just adds to the character of the property! Dinner was lovely as was breakfast, we both felt so comfortable and at ease it was great We will definitely be staying there next time we are in the area
