Nice hotel

Small, clean room. There is no handsoap provided, also no toiletries for the shower. The staff was very friendly and there is a place to store your luggage after you check out so you don't have to carry it with you all day while waiting for your ferry.

The room was small but cozy! Comfortable air conditioning, queen bed, squeaky step up to the shower/toilet. Toilet seat barely attached, very rocky seat! Overall, nice room for a quick stay!

Weekday Overnight Stay on BI

A friend and I stayed overnight on BI during the week of Aug 10th at the Harborside Inn. Check -in was very easy and they even called me before the stated check- in time of 3pm to check-in early. I enjoyed the luggage storage room and the luxury of not having to carry a heavy backpack around for 2 days. The room had A/C which worked well (as I understand not many places have a/c on BI). The room was very cozy, bed was on the harder side, room DID have its own bathroom but with only a small stand up shower. The Inn is a old Victorian building that has charm but also has settled and shifted a bit. The staircase going up to the rooms (no elevator) is very slanted, our bedroom door frame was off and had a couple inch gap at the bottom of the door, as well. It was clean and felt safe. The location is literally right across from the ferry dock and taxi stand, in the middle of all the restaurants and shops In Old Harbor. It’s a zero frills room for the night on BI at one of the most affordable prices on the Island. Check-out is at 10am. The Inn has packages that included stuff like breakfast, ours did not but the Harborside Grill attached to the restaurant is very good. We ate there several times. All and all if your looking for a cool place to sleep at night in Old Harbor that won’t break the bank, this is your place.

It’s alright but location is amazing

Overall the stay was fine but the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, the pillows were wafer thin, and the toilet didn’t flush very well. We only stayed one night but the location can’t be beat and would probably stay there again. The view from the main balcony is right of the water and it’s beautiful especially at night during the sunset.

Harborside Inn, Block Island

Nice for the price. Stayed 3 nights Tuesday-Thursday, only $206.00 per night including tax. This hotel is nothing fancy but the location is perfect. Good bar and restaurant, friendly staff. 3rd floor stairs a bit steep but fine.

Basic accommodations with amazing location and very friendly staff. I couldn’t believe it when I got off the ferry and this place was right there. Hope to visit again, I’d like to try the restaurant on the porch, it looks lovely.

This Inn is bare bones but functional. It would be nice to see the owner invest in some updates. But we didn’t come to Block Island to stay in the room!! The hotel is centrally located in the middle of shopping with a beautiful front porch and view of Old Harbor.

The room was like a closet. It was clean and had AC and a great view. Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Closet was the bathroom, sink with the bed. It was quiet at night, easy to sleep!
