The Edison boasts several outdoor amenities for all seasons that will allow you to truly connect with nature and with one another. Enjoy relaxing inside the screened-in porch with some burgers made on the gas grill outside. Make some s'mores and spin some tales with one another at the fire pit. Or, if you really need to soak off the day's fun and relax, enjoy the fabulous hot tub with perfect views. When it comes to entertainment and gaming, the cabin has a lot to offer. Located 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and 30 minutes from historic Ellijay. Both cities offer great dining, bars and shopping. About an hour away is the charming German themed town of Helen with many shops selling German souvenirs and multiple restaurants with brats, pretzels and schnitzels on the menu. Three minutes away is the Taccoa River grill - Excellent dining option! The cabin itself was perfect for two couples as there are two on-suite bedrooms - one on the 3rd floor and one on the 1st floor. There is also a bedroom on the main floor (2nd floor) that shares a full bathroom with the common area. The Edison is not a brand new cabin but has been updated beautifully. It's comfortably appointed with woodsy themed furniture and decor. The kitchen has an island perfect for gathering and is stocked with any small appliance you can think of as well as utensils for the gas bbq grill which we used often. Getting to the cabin is easy but I will say that the paved, single lane road is quite steep. If you don't like roller coasters keep your eyes closed. The property is the first driveway off the secondary road and was little closer to the main road than expected but that didn't at all affect our experience sitting in the rockers on the porch or hanging by the fire pit.
