Grinder's Switch Winery Tours

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we did not check out in time. Without a call, our belongings were removed from the room and put on a cart. I totally understand that something must be done when a guest’s stay runs beyond the checkout time. I have no sympathy for the hotel when an effort to contact the guest is not made. Hotel staff were unsympathetic and just pointed fingers. Boo!

Things I enjoyed: overall excellent hotel with plants everywhere, its beautiful. 5 stars. Smooth check in, room beautiful and immaculate, felt big. They have an audi e-tron that can take you places within 2 miles in Nashville, although it is often taken since there is only one. I attended the spa which was a nice experience with a sauna and steam room as well. Things I did not enjoy: Bar upstairs was pretty, although its a bit disappointing to pay that price for a pre-made batch cocktail. Did not appreciate an automatic gratuity on the spa services - that should be up to the customer.

Rooms were nice and big with lots of space and a full, functional kitchen. The elevator wasn’t working while we were there, so we used the stairs. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly!
