First, the location. What a beautiful view. Next, the room was so nicely renovated. The modern amenities with old world charm. The bathroom was so liluxorious. Next the breakfast was superb. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and given a free drink. The room was well appointed with a great deck view of the harbor and was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. This may be the cleanest hotel I've ever been to. Great location on top of a hill near downtown Boothbay. The main house's veranda and breakfast area is everything you'd want from a seaside hotel. Food was delicious and I appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room, as well as access to other drinks in the main house. Expedia put us in the wrong room and the staff was helpful in getting us a refund for the difference in price. Note, if you're on the lower floor, you will hear the footsteps of the people above you.
