"From the outset the customer service was excellent. Lovely room with great view across to the water. Restaurant staff were so friendly and again the service was excellent. The menu was limited but what we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Perhaps a couple of traditional Indian dishes would be an excellent addition. "

The restaurant is closed on Mondays but plenty of other options a short walk away in the high street. I would ahve liked to eat at Candlesticks though becuase the food there was excellent last time. Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit."
