Our one-night stay was lovely. The peaceful surroundings, stunning views, and calm atmosphere made it a great stopover. We’d definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

Lenny Henry has to try out the bed in the King Room! He would give up staying at that hotel chain and only stay at Willow Ridge. Once you are snuggled down in that bed, getting up is not an option. Lisa is lovely host.

Amazing hospitality and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I cant recommend this property enough. Very clean, immaculate in fact. Safe and quiet, what more could you ask for.

Willow Ridge

Lovely location and our king room was superb. Our host Lisa was there to welcome us, such a helpful and friendly lady. We were shown to our room where she had prepared comprehensive details of useful information about places to go, eating places etc. Lovely en-suite shower and extremely comfortable bed. Would definitely visit again.

Home from home. The room and en suite was immaculately clean. Lisa explained everything in the room for me and had very well detailed books for the guests explaining what was available in the local area. I will definitely be stopping again. Many thanks Lisa.

Amazing stay in the King room

It was such a pleasure to stay at Willow Ridge for a couple of nights. Lisa's communication before the stay was really helpful with getting me checked in. A very friendly lady who checked that I had everything I needed. I stayed in the King room, which was beautiful decorated, with a balcony window to look at outside and the most comfortable bed (I liked the Peacock duvet set). I fully recommend anyone to stay here. You won't regret it.

Willow Ridge - touring holiday

Willow Ridge is a fabulous country house perfectly situated just outside Bristol. From here you can explore the whole area easily including Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge caves, Bath, Glastonbury and Weston-super-mare and more. The host cannot do enough for you and makes you feel at home right from the start. The room was clean and comfortable and decorated to a high standard with terrific views across the countryside. I have to mention the vast welcome package informing guests of the wide area, restaurants, site seeing etc. amazing. Car parking right at the door. I would definitely return if I was in this area and hopefully will.

This was one of the most frustrating B&B experiences I've ever had. After a long drive, the first challenge was parking. The parking area was extremely cramped, making it difficult to fit even a small sedan. Upon arrival, we were given what felt like a mandatory hour-long lecture about the house rules. Rather than feeling welcomed, it felt as though every aspect of our stay would be monitored and controlled. We were told where we could and could not go, what we could and could not use, where we were allowed to wear shoes, and even where we were permitted to step. The bathroom is shared, and the hot water supply appears to be very limited. If guests from another room shower before you, be prepared for a cold shower. The room itself was dusty and not particularly clean. Storage space was also limited because many closets and storage areas were already occupied by the host's personal belongings and clothing. The beds were narrow, and the mattress was uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the atmosphere felt more like a cheap dormitory than a welcoming bed and breakfast. The constant supervision—whether in person or through cameras—made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay. I left feeling disappointed and would not choose to stay here again. No pub/restaurant is available within working distance - technically it shows on the Google Maps, but in reality it was closed at 7pm Friday.

We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this well-located house. Even though I missed the check-in time details, Lisa was extremely accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. She also recommended some great places to eat and visit, which we really appreciated. We would happily stay here again.
