Hidden Creek is located at the end of the road in Southern Hills in a secluded location. Minutes away from Beavers Bend State Park, it is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the peaceful setting. Hidden Creek was designed and built by family with much attention to detail and craftsmanship. It is truly a family affair and a great place to enjoy your own family. Hidden Creek is handicap friendly, which includes a large ramp and extra wide doors.

Beautifully designed decks are on 3 sides of the cabin. A portion of our decks are covered and a portion are not, allowing you to sit outside and listen to the rain or to gaze at the stars on the uncovered deck The front deck overlooks a natural spring fed creek almost hidden in the trees. When we get a good rain, the creek doubles in size, and you can spend a peaceful evening listening and watching it flow through the trees. Visitors can often see deer grazing on the property or Ricky the raccoon (as we have affectionately named him) rummaging through the discarded food. There are two upstairs balconies accessible from both upstairs bedrooms and game room.

Hidden Creek sleeps 8 to 10 people. The Great Room, 4 bedrooms, game room, 3 baths, and fully equipped kitchen are designed with families in mind. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Smoking Not Allowed

The great room has one wall that is floor to ceiling windows and overlooks the woods. You can sit in the great room and enjoy a fire in the stone gas fireplace or watch the flat-screen TV above the fireplace. Australian Cypress wood floors and knotty pine walls add to the overall ambiance of the room. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and the master bath has a large walk-in shower and a handicap commode both with grab bars. There are 3 other bedrooms all with queen beds. The Game Room located upstairs has a ping-pong table, and a flat-screen TV . There are also board games and books available to enjoy.

Hidden Creek - nice property, a little hard to find, but quiet location.
Picture showed 3 bar stools and there was only 1. I would recommend new furniture in living area and that balcony areas be cleaned off of pine needles prior to arrival. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the location and plenty of room for our family, close to the lake and clean. Disappointed in the upkeep, broken futon bed, upstairs AC not working, upstairs porch unsafe conditions so kids were not allowed on it, beds so uncomfortable that we slept on couch the last night. Grounds not clean and two empty cans of propane when we arrived and got ready to grill. Would be a great place with some TLC to the property

The best thing about this cabin was the downstairs walk in shower and a ramp to enter cabin. It was great for our aging family members to have a safe space. Unfortunately the upstairs bathroom was leaking into the kitchen during our stay and we weren’t able to use that amenity. The maintenance team responded quickly but it was such a large plumbing issue we had to delay the repair until after our stay. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Good, but not great.
As a large party we have had LOTS of experiences with rental properties and have come to expect a certain level of attention to detail. Although this property was overall fine and mostly suited our needs, there were so many details missed. -- no shower curtain liners, so we had to put the fabric curtains inside the showers to keep water in --no containers with lids available for leftovers, nor ANY foil, saran wrap, or plastic bags --Grill would not heat about 300 degrees --upstairs tv is broken --cleaning crew put an oven liner in the bottom of a GAS OVEN and when we finally figured out why it wouldnt work, we darn near took fireballs to the face --DVDs provided were scratched and wouldnt play --measuring cups so worn they no longer had markings on them --no broom was provided for us to keep tidy during our stay or attempt to tidy before we checked out --ZERO checkout instructions left at the house nor did we receive any emails with checkout instructions --Directions to the house were WAY over complicated. Management claimed "no address" to the house which is actually not true. Dont let the directions fool you, they are NOT that difficult. On their own these would be really minor things, but the list grew throughout our stay and given the accomodations we've been used to with other rentals, we wouldnt stay again.

Nice cabin and setting but needs some tlc
Sheets had to be washed due to finding hair on them. 4 of 5 propane tanks empty. Spa was dirty and appears to be leaking. Had to refill half way on day 2. Spare blankets need washed. A bit tough to find the cabin. Maybe drop a pin for guests to follow. Nice setting.

We loved our stay! From the moment we walked in it felt like home. It was neat and clean. Plenty of room for us. We loved how private it was as it was at the end of a road and very secluded. Exactly what we were looking for. You might want to take your own pillows! They are pretty flat. It was equipped with everything that we needed. The wifi is hit and miss. Perhaps a new router is needed. . The railing and gates around the deck are a plus! We were able to sit out on the deck and not have to worry about our dogs. If you are looking to get away and get unplugged, this is your cabin! We will more than likely return!

While it’s tricky to get to, it’s worth every penny. Gorgeous view with occasional deer near by. Quiet. Very spacious. Internet and cell service are non existent, so if you’re looking for a digital UNPLUG this is your spot.

Stayed for my 23rd birthday This cabin was beautiful! In an excellent location pretty secluded. The directions that were given was a little hard to understand but we eventually found it. Had pretty much everything we needed. The hot tub and the ping pong table was definitely the best part but overall I love this cabin! Definitely recommend if you’re trying to get away with some friends or family. Would love to stay here again!

The cabin was beautiful, clean and huge! The only problem we had was WiFi it kept going off and on so we didn’t get to watch any movies. Also, there is absolutely no cell phone reception in this area. It was still an amazing trip everyone enjoyed themselves.

Great secluded cabin!
We loved the secluded location of the cabin! The decks (some covered and some uncovered) were a great addition as well as the hot tub. Two bedrooms and 2 baths on the first floor were handy for our older family and the two bedrooms and one bath on the second floor just off the game room were nice with doors opening onto balconies! It was clean, had a wonderful view and convenient kitchen as well as washer and dryer. Beautiful place!! We plan to be back next year!!

Great Mini Vacation
My friends and I rented this cabin for my 40th birthday. It had 4 bedrooms, 3 baths. We enjoyed hot tub, watching deer. There was snow on the ground when we were there. Loved how this cabin was at the end of the road so you don’t have an traffic. Very nice decks on back of house that kept dogs in which I appreciated very much. House was stocked very well with dishes. I feel that with the size of the house might consider adding a bigger refrigerator. All the shelves in the door of the refrigerator are gone so there is nothing to put your condiments in. It was big enough for our crew but I can see a bigger family staying there would have trouble putting all refrigerator items in there. Bathroom lights in shower in master need to be replaced. They did not work. Didn’t bother us but might someone else. The master bath is built for handicapped person in mind with plenty of room and has a shower chair there if needed. 2 rooms on bottom floor, one king and one queen. 2 bathrooms downstairs and one upstairs. 2 nice kids size rooms upstairs as well. Kids enjoyed the game room upstairs with ping pong table and small couch/tv to play video games. Bring a box fan at night so that you don’t hear kids walking above you on the floor at night to drown our the noise. Large windows in the living room are beautiful. Need to look at one of the chairs at the bar in kitchen. It is not very stable when sitting in it. Couch pulls out into a bed also. Overall this is a wonderful cabin and was enjoyed extremely well by our family and friends.

We loved the location of Hidden Creek and the outdoor space for the kids to explore. It is a beautiful cabin with four bedrooms to accommodate everyone. It would have been even better if we had simple things like garbage bags and paper towels to use once the original was gone. This is something other renters need to be aware of.

So much potential but fell short. To start with, the directions we were given used vague landmarks and outdated requests on how to get to the cabin that like reseting our trip odometer ever turn. It is 2020 and there is an actual address for the cabin. We had someone in our party drop a pin that allowed everyone else to locate the cabin with ease by using the address. Upon arriving at the cabin (during COVID 19 pandemic) there were no cleaning supplies, nor a list of things for us to see what had taken place to ensure that we would feel safe in a new environment. It was surprising that there was no list of things that showed what was cleaned before our arrival, especially with covid 19 still happening. There were no cleaning supplies for us to use to wipe down the counters or floors even if we had a spill or anything. There was only 1 roll of paper towels in the whole cabin for 10 people to use the whole stay. This along with only have 1 spare toilet paper roll in the main bathroom made us feel like the stay is more concerned with cutting costs rather than providing for any need the guest may experience. The tap water tastes great and bottled water is not needed. However not everyone knew this so multiple guests found themselves driving to a store nearby to purchase bottled water. Other reviews have mentioned the small fridge so I am not sure I need to go into that much with the exception that the built in area for a fridge literally fits a larger one. The thing that may have been the most concerning or frustrating was that one of the bedrooms appeared to not have had the sheets washed before our stay as they smelled like a wet dog. (Resulting in us doing a load of laundry to have clean sheets during our stay). This was further explained in our check-out procedures that did not ask us to remove the linens from the beds. All this and we still really enjoyed our stay because of the location, friends, and layout of the cabin. What I think would help is simple: Remember this is a group cabin - a larger fridge is a one time purchase, stock more toilet paper rolls and paper towels along with cleaning supplies for guests to use if needed. Please let us know how the linens are washed if we aren't responsible for removing them after the stay and let us know about the cleaning procedures. As for drinking water, a simple sign near the sink or on the fridge to communicate that the water is safe and delicious goes a long way.
