“Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while.……

“Fisherman's Rest was exactly what we were hoping for. We needed somewhere to stay in Helmsdale while we waited to get the keys to our new property, and needed it to have internet speed fast enough that my husband (a programmer) could work. This comfortable cottage had everything we needed! The kitchen was well-equipped, and meant we didn't have to eat out 3 meals a day. (Which gets old, really quickly for me.) The bed was comfortable, as is the furniture in the living room. ”
