"Had a bit of a hiccup early on in the trip and the owner was very eager to make it right. Beautiful area and home would definitely come again. Nice extra touches like marshmallow roasting sticks, firewood and toys for the kids. "

"Our ten pound dog was welcomed by attentive staff making check in easy. The motel is well worn and dated with smoking left overs outside. The heating was old but worked well and controlled well. The beds were very comfortable and the place quiet and dark."

"Such a sweet little place to stay. We were there for the Polar Express. Our granddaughters LOVED that the train ran right by our place. They would run outside and wave to each car. Also it is 5 minutes from everywhere! "

"Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this places was. It has a historic home feel with many beautiful details but also felt like a second home. Our room was very clean with a very attentive front desk and housekeeper. Highly recommend staying here & I hope to return in the warmer months to enjoy the pool and take advantage of the horse riding stables right next door. . Only one small improvement needed-but requires money. The game room needs a face lift cause it could be SO amazing. Other than that-just wonderful!!! "
