"The staff are very friendly, and they support one another. The breakfast is nicely laid out, and you had an option of preparing a bag to take with you. On a couple of days we prepared a lunch of bagel and cream cheese to take with us. This is an older hotel, but will maintained, and reminiscent of hotels I remember from 50 years ago."

"The property we rented was as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a 10-minute drive from Colby College, where we attended our college reunion. The house was older but had modern appliances, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The home is on a farm with horses and a mule on the premises, which we enjoyed. The owner lives in an addition attached to the home. She was most engaging and attentive to our questions and needs. The only drawback for senior citizens like us is that the stairs going up to the 2nd-floor bedrooms are steep, making it somewhat difficult to carry our luggage upstairs.Overall, a very positive experience for us."

"Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! The room & view of the river was breathtaking. Everything was super clean and peaceful. My husband and I actually forgot the code to our room when coming back after a night out. It was 1am and within 10 minutes customer service was on the phone and helped us get in with no problems at all. I highly recommend staying at the skowhegan. We will definitely be returning in the future. "

"We live nearby and had family visit, and stay at Camp Hope. They loved it so much that they booked a week for next year's visit. Communication was very prompt and the camp was perfect. It was well stocked and attention had been given to the details. There are accommodation's for all types of weather from the cozy indoor living area, to the screened in porch, and outdoor picnic table with fire pit. The decor is perfect and gave the finishing touches to a summer stay, at a cabin on the lake. Our family enjoy's fishing and utilized the dock for catching a variety of fish.
