It was an amazing experience and the Host John was super easy to work with and get ahold of if we needed anything. My husband and I came up to Calumet for our anniversary trip.

We like a quiet place. This was our own little cabin in the woods for a couple of nights. Everything we needed, and nothing we did not want to deal with.

Check-in was easy. And the property is perfectly located and identified. Only issues we had were around cleanliness and the spiders. The bathroom had evidence of previous guest usage and I’ll just leave it at that. We also encountered a couple big spiders inside that we bought our own spray to take care of.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Always clean and tidy. Hot water & shower is excellent. We had a small snaffu with our booking, a mistake on our part, luckily for us John was able to accommodate us for the extra night. I would suggest adding a couple of bowls to the dishes for cereal etc. A relaxing environment, great fire pit surrounded by trees.
