The best thing about this hotel is the view. The rooms are ok (carpet a bit old, bathrooms could use remodelling) and on the small side. Pool was nice but very small and narrow and not particularly warm, so we didn’t stay in very long. The pool has a great view over the water and the views from the hotel rooms are stunning. The breakfast was quite basic with not many options and cost €35 plus fees. Overall the hotel and breakfast were not good value. The staff member who offered to give us a ride to our next hotel was very helpful. It wasn’t clear where to go to get the ferry and we did ask staff questions about the ferry routes, etc., but perhaps there was a language barrier. There’s a way to walk directly from the ferry terminal to the hotel, which we discovered ourselves on the way back! Staff didn’t offer to book any excursions for us. The price didn’t seem to match the luxury experience we expected. (My friend’s room was over $700 a night, mine was $548). Great views and the wine and cocktails are highly recommended!

Don’t bother! You book le mare Poulard but could end up anywhere but! We were in l armitage which is very tired smells bad had rotten bathroom door frames at the bottom and cracked and loose tiles in the bathroom, when we went back to reception to ask for milk we were told to go to le mare poulard which was closed until evening dinner service! Brilliant.

Priceless to take an early morning stroll before crowd hits. It’s crowded in small alley so plan ahead and recommend to bring the least amount of luggage. I saw 2 parties sitting in front of the locked door and helped them where to find the check in, it would be nice to put some instruction at the door or somewhere. It’s beautiful hotel, a little pricey but considering location, it’s worth. Would love to return.

The staff was excellent , the accommodations a bit tired but suitable for such an historic accommodation. The assistance from the parking area to the hotel on the island was particularly excellent and would like to extend our appreciation. Thank you for a memorable experience.
