"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"We stayed at the Ginger Cabin for our entire 10 days in Costa Rica. The cabin provided everything we needed. We were able to cook at the cabin if we didn't want to go out. Beautiful property and setting with constant sound of flowing water from the covered porch. We spent most nights on the porch recovering from the day and planning the next day. "We had a nice time. Key takeaways: this location would be best in the dry season. No heating or cooling and no screens on windows. Fireplace is extremely smoky, you will smell like you were camping. The wood is also very damp and hard to light and keep going. Very friendly staff. Grounds are beautiful when the sun is out.
