“I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. The room was clean and tidy (and had AC). There are beautiful plants everywhere and an adorable little dog named Holly. Lastly, the breakfast was……

“We loved this place as our home base! Very safe, private, secure, clean, and great customer service. Alejandro the waiter is the best!! Learned our names the first night and made us feel so welcome. Anytime he saw us, in the parking lot or walking to our room, he would yell out a name and greet us and ask how our day went. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Venting a room here is a steal!!!”

Located at an excellent location, a short drive to San Jose and in a lovely quiet town. Nearby restaurants have amazing food. The pool was magnificent, the staff were friendly and hospitable. “We have been visiting this hotel for several years, and unfortunately we noticed a significant decline in quality this time. The hotel is clearly cutting back on maintenance. The area around the pool looks worn out, with several damaged and faded awnings that need urgent replacement. The rooms also show clear signs of neglect — walls and furniture are starting to look tired and outdated. The bathroom towels were of very poor quality: thin, rough, and not what you would expect from this hotel. In……
