Felt like it could have a little bit more to offer for breakfast.

The location, lake view and building is beautiful. We didn't get instructions about the lights and ceiling fans. The fan was noisy. Because the temperature had dropped it was cold. We couldn't figure out how to shut the fans off. The host showed me the unusual set up as we prepared to leave after 2 day stay. Shared bathroom. Terrible lighting. Rust stains in toilet. The rug in the great room smelled bad from dog. The property needs a lot of maintenance.

There was no soap inside the dispenser in the shower!Shamppo and conditioner were ok level to use. The shower curtain bracket was installed incorrectly, there are tabs on the metal bar that were upside down, so the curtain didn't stay stable, thus plenty of shower water went onto the floor around shower basin....I built a lot of stuff like furniture, homes in my day, so i figure things out when issues arise. Plus, the curtain holder not properly anchored to the wall, so it is tipped down again not letting curtain work like it should. The coffee machine outlet had no power either. Had to relocate the maker to use the machine. Plus, the light fixture at same outlet...no lights at the desk,so couldnt use :( The toilet seat/height....I'm a taller fellow. And a senior citizen... This old thing is for miniature body size...so hard to use with this very short toilet design... so the room wasnt the tidiest, cleanest either...when I expect a decent room, clean, and everything properly working...Thats all.

This AmericInn is one of the better ones I've been to: friendly staff, fully working and enjoyable pool/hot tub/dry sauna experience, good breakfast, hot tea & coffee available throughout the day. Highly recommend.
