We booked this hotel for the sole reason of using the water park for 3 days. Upon arriving, the front desk staff tells us that the water park is always closed (and has been that way for at least the previous 5 years) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays...the days that we had booked to stay. We were not given any advance notice by the hotel, or by Expedia, that the water park would not be open. In fact, our confirmation from Expedia explains that the resort fee that we were paying included use of the water park. We tried to check out a day early, since there was no reason for us to stay, but the front desk staff claimed that we couldn't check out early because their audit department wouldn't be updating our folio until that night??? Not sure how that had any bearing on us checking out? We left early anyway.
