"Great welcome from the staff Room was spacious , clean and well presented. It's an old period pub/hotel so the shower room.eas compact but all perfectly fine. Bed was really comfortable and although my room was close to the road I wasn't disturbed at all through the night. I ate in the pub and the food was excellent, couldn't fault the service or the meal. I had the steak for main course and brownie for desert - amazing! Would definitely stay again if in the area Didn't have time to stay for the breakfast as had to leave early "

"Ann & Norman were such amazing hosts the place was clean and super cozy we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Let’s not forget the amazing homemade produce, amazing jams and chutney choices and the Apple Juice it was so good we had to return back home with 3 bottles."

"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location. Even a chicken popped in to say hello! My partner is diabetic and though we had planned on having breakfast, 10.30am was a little too late so we had to get a breakfast in Ledbury around 9am. Now we've found this lovely place, im sure we'll stay here again when in the area. Just a shame it was just for one night, but we will be back! Thanks for everything!"
