"Warm welcome on arrival and personally shown to our room which was overlooking the courtyard, so would be nice and quiet. Good room facilities including coffee machine. Ate in the restaurant where the food was great. Rate included a continental breakfast which was all we needed, but there is hot options if you wish. Great one night stop over."

"What a beautiful village and setting. The old white hart is a wonderful building, original features with tastefully done modern twists. Our double bath was more like a small pool, truly truly spacious. We loved it! "

"We spent 5 nights in this ground floor apartment at the end of April. It was perfect for us - a retired couple, one of whom has a mobility problem. The toilet and walk-in shower were immaculate and the kitchenette well equipped. The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The large TV with Freeview and streaming was mainly excellent but with some stuttering /pixelation on the live TV channels. The host/ manager responded quickly to our questions. The apartment is well located just off the main road and has secure parking. It is opposite a pub which serves food and two minutes from another restaurant. There are no shops in the village of Caldecott but plenty of shopping in nearby Corby or Uppingham. Caldecott is a good base for exploring places like Oakham, Stamford, and Market Harborough."

"Sophie’s Barn is a special find. We loved the setting in open countryside and the interior was great. Big open spaces inside and out. Bed and bedrooms are very comfortable and be linens are high quality. Great extras like games, artwork and welcome pack made things even better. We will be back. "
