“The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. ”

“This property was amazing. The photos of the interior don’t do it justice. It was impeccably clean and much larger than the photos. The dock and water were perfect. We would definitely come back! Unfortunately there was SO many yellow jackets on the property, so we had to go and buy traps to use the exterior deck. Also the umbrella was at the bottom of the lake when we got there. After retrieving the umbrella and a few days, we realized why: the base for the umbrella does not fit the...

“The cabin has an excellent location, only 9 km away from Nelson, and is centrally located to venture out to experience many attractions and points of exploration offered in the area. This quaint little cabin was nestled in the trees next to a babbling brook, providing serenity and a well-needed escape from city life. They also provided all the amenities and kitchen items a person may need. ”

“Overall a great property to stay at. The beach was perfect for our stay. The wasps were a little crazy, at the beach and in the gazebo area, but unfortunately that isn’t something the host can control. Would definitely look to rebook again. ”

“Glamping paradise! The pictures say a lot, but it's even better in person. Waking up and going to sleep lakeside is a privilege and a pleasure here. The night skies are pure and star-filled. Babs, the owner, is accommodating , personable, and aims to please! We can highly recommend this lovely spot. It's a little work to get down to the cottage, so pack accordingly. But it's SO, SO worth it!!!”

We had a fire one night, which was great, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings with easy access to Slocan, about 10 minutes away. We cycled the Rail Trail and enjoyed exploring the interesting villages close by. ”
