“Stayed overnight at Mill Street Suite while exploring Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks. It was a cozy and comfortable experience in an extremely convenient location next to both state parks (just a few miles down the road) and on Mill Street next to several eating and drinking establishments. Went to Bruce and Ollie’s across the street for coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream multiple times during our stay. The suite was well appointed and updated with all the amenities anyone can need. “The villa is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for cooking, eating, and entertainment. The beds were comfy and the villa was situated in a quiet corner of the resort next to the woods. Had a raccoon appear at the patio door the first night; guessing that previous guests may have given it a handout. The resort is practically adjacent to Starved Rock State Park, which allowed us to hike in the early morning and get back to the villa for breakfast, then head out again. When...
