"Loved the rooms. Bright, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious. Could do with a few more USB points. The area is lovely and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the ongoing building site (hospital) is a bit unsightly. Not the properties fault. Staff are fantastic, helpful, empathetic and go the extra mile. Massive thumbs up for staff. We only had breakfast on this occasion. Only negative to breakfast is that it is not made clear that if you can’t find something, you need only ask staff and they will help. Overall the hotel is lovely. Could do with a few water fountains for refilling water bottles."

"Staff are outstanding , from checking in, evening meal and Amanda at breakfast, we loved the attentiveness and how friendly everyone was. We were in room 5, it was spotless, comfortable bed, good nights sleep , homemade cookies in a wee jar, soft towels , warm shower, fluffy towels . Wishing we were there longer - but will definitely return. "

"The property was lovely and spacious with lots of outdoor seating in the interesting gardens. The nearby management promptly dealt with our minor questions. My only minor criticism is that the main road (a31) is nearby and can be busy.The nearby woods are great for largely flat walks. Might take bikes next time. "

"We had a super summer bank holiday weekend at the lodge, it was a great for three families (11 people in total) to get together and have some fun at Moors Valley and even more relaxation in the hot tub!!!We walked both days to Moors Valley, via the back gate and forest, about 40 minutes, depending on how fast you walk, to the activity centre and Go Ape, and there was so much to do, we ran out of time over the weekend.The lodge itself was a great base, with all the amenities you would need and the hosts were very helpful, we could even get an Uber eats delivery when we ran out of Sausages for the BBQ!It provides super facilities and great location for an ‘outdoor’ weekend with family or friends."
