We only had one issue and that was with the dryer not working, which we didn’t discover until we had already washed a load of clothes. There isn’t a lobby that is staffed at this location, and it’s not clear who to contact with issues. The “check-in” occurred at the security gate as you arrive to the country club. But despite the lack of clear instructions you get when booking, I still recommend this place, especially if you have more than a one night stay, and would stay here again. Hammock on the deck takes alot of space where some decent seating and a small table might be. Great view of the park and street activity. Location is not know to Uber. Early morning coffee is available. Paid for morning breakfast with room online ... used 1 of 2 breakfasts, no credit offered. Breakfast quality is reasonable and tasted good. Staff are probably best asset at this property. They try very hard to make guests welcome amd comfortable. I did not feel like was being worked for an expected tip at all. (118 reviews) This hotel has a great beach location. Although we couldn't go into the ocean because of jellyfish allegedly. The sea is best for surfing and water sports not so much relaxing. Pools were fine. The rooms were in need of repairs, first room we found mold and they didn't move us until the next day. Second room was better but showers were leaking, air conditioner smelt of mildew. There is only one restaurant and the food was good but the service was slow, the server had to come back many times to re-take our order.
