We had no issues. No bugs, the floors in our room turned my socks black. Other than that, everything was just fine. Soap, hair dryer, clean microwave. a towel had a tiny stain, no biggie. Ac unit works well.

Staff was great. The rooms are large and…. Let’s cut to the chase. This is an old motel that looks like an old motel. It also COSTS like an old motel. I was escaping an ice storm and just wanted a place that if it lost power, being a business, it would get restored quickly. It had a frig and microwave. No coffee maker. Also no machines for snacks, drinks, nor ice. TV was fine with copious channels. Acoustics were lousy—the door knocking next door sounded like it was my door. New mattresses- very comfy. The 3 rating is for pluses and minuses.

There were some sketchy moments and the smell of marijuana even though it's supposed to be a Non-Smoking facility. Otherwise, when there was an issue, the hotel staff was quick to resolve it to our satisfaction. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. They would do so much better if they repaired major damage immediately like a huge hole in the bathroom door.

The new owner gave me a renovated room that had not been used yet. It was amazing! It was appointed with a new king size bed, new linens, new curtains, and new towels. The tub surround and new shower curtain were pristine. The new shower head had options for water flow and had great water pressure. The new mattress was so comfortable and had four pillows for personalized comfort. The new counter and sink with storage cabinets in the room is genius! It more than doubled the useful space in the room. I will definitely look for this hotel next time I'm in the area.

Nightly stay for an event.

I traveled with my daughter and choose this hotel based on reviews. However, the area although easy access to road is in a sketchy area. Room was clean. Our biggest problem came because the people in the room next to ours was smoking weed as well as people below us. So at midnight, my room began smelling of it. I contacted the front desk. They had no other rooms available and no security on premises to handle it. So I was left in a room with my child smelling of that. The manager did offer a refund but had no means of handling that situation.
