Cozy and plentiful
We enjoy a good mountain drive and we’re very thankful for an AWD for the dive up to the Robins Nest!. Once we did it the first time then you’re prepared for it. The cabin is so charming and adorable! We enjoyed the homey feeling being there. First time bringing our own towels and linens which felt strange but overall worked well. She has plenty of blankets and pillows . The local mountain towns were fun to explore. We lived Sylva,Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Dillsboro and Cherokee, definitely plenty to keep you busy!

Our stay at Robins nest
We came at the perfect time. The fall colors were at their peak. The weather was perfect. Everything at the cabin was beautiful and the people of Sylva and Waynesville were so nice and friendly. We visited our favorite Mast General Store and drove the Blue Ridge Parkway. We DID not want to leave and can't wait to come back. Oh, and what's up with them crazy dogs? Thanks for having us from the 23rd to the 27th of Oct 2023 The Hargetts.

A nice and very secluded cabin
Overall great place. But...it shouldn't have even come up on my search as I used "hot tube" as one of the filters. My fault for not catching it, and VRBO's fault for letting a Jacuzzi tub and hot tub mean the same thing... Also, there are security camera's that are not mentioned in the listing, and I think they should be. I understand why anyone would have them on their property, but it should be mentioned. We really enjoyed our stay

great cabin deep in the country/mountains
Great clean cabin. We had no real issues with it. The home itself looks amazing and is completely wood. The road to the cabin is steep and somewhat narrow, but we didn't have too much trouble getting there. Location is pretty good too, there is a walmart and grocceries within 15 minutes of driving.

Decent private stay
Overall the cabin is nice, plenty of space for up to 4 people. There are loud dogs audible from the back porch at all hours of the night though they are far enough away you do not hear them from inside. The unit has a hottub listed on ammenities and my wife and i were very much looking forward to using the hot tub. Once we arrived, we were very dissappointed to find there is no hot tub, only a bathtub with jets (with jets that had not been cleaned in some time). Getting to the cabin is a bit of a pain with some tight turns and muddy areas. All in all, the stay was decent for the price.

Mountaintop Adventure
We enjoyed this cozy cabin near the top of Round Top Mountain. For these Florida flatlanders, it was an adventure getting up and down the mountain but it was doable if not a bit exciting (our Ford Edge handled it with no problem). We were very comfortable in this well-appointed cabin and soaked in the privacy and quietness. We cooked a little but also enjoyed downtown Sylva (Lucy in the Rye, City Lights Cafe and Bookstore, and the Lazy Hiker). The Pinnacle Park Trail at the end of Fisher Creek Rd provided a beautiful hike with its cascading creek. We attempted the East Fork but it got a bit narrow, icy, and muddy for us so we doubled back. Finished up with an easy walk at the Jackson County Greenway along the river and slept very well that night!

JOHNSON family Thanksgiving 2022
We were pleasantly surprised by this cabin. It surpassed our expectations and we would enjoy coming back. As Floridians we welcomed the many blankets and utilized the porches and fireplace. All the amenities we needed. On Thanksgiving night there was a 5 hr power outtage, but we were plenty warm. Convenient to our friends and shopping. I would highly recommend Robin's Nest. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the remoteness of the location, and still close to everything.

The location was awesome, everything was as listed. The only downside was the barking dogs and them roaming the property and barking outside the bedroom during the night, other than that the stay was great.

Really lovely cabin
This cabin is really wonderful. The area is peaceful and calm, it's surrounded by woods and is quiet and secure. The cabin is comfortable and very clean. The host answers questions and is available to call, if needed. We were so relaxed and refreshed after staying here. We really loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the sounds of nature without the sounds of the city and cars. Thank you so much.
