"We had great stay at The Black Swan! Very clean, great communication and excellent service.
Bonuses - a beautiful lake view with lake access and a fantastic restaurant!"
"Pool open only at 09h00 in the morning and close at 21h00 at night, should be 1 hour earlier and 1 h later. Pool close by labour day is too early. Free breakfast is very good doors are lock for safety before 10h am."
"Great value for families! The welcoming staff, location (Lenox/Pittsfield border), spacious suite, and ample amenities made for a fantastic vacation.
No free breakfast but there are several dining options and markets nearby. Gorgeous view of the sunset from the upper floors. There was a note of upcoming renovations so looking forward to what else they have in store. "
"Short ten minute walk to the western mass. bike path that connects Northampton to Hadley and Amherst. Ten minute drive to downtown Northampton and its shopping and dining options. Shopping and dining options on Russell Street in Hadley and Amherst."
"Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. The area around the hotel was pleasant. I’ve stayed at a few other properties when visiting family. This place is wonderful! My new favorite spot "
"It was a very nice experience. The hotel is very quiet, the front desk people are welcoming. Very clean.. love it there! I wish i can get a room for parent weekend. I will definitely be back. "
"I recently stayed 1 night at the Quality Inn while in the area for Six Flags. This is my go to hotel when visiting the park as it is a great value and about 15 minutes away.
I checked in later, around 9pm, and long time employee Rick was at the desk. He is never shy about his dislike for computers and can take some time to check in a guest, but he is funny and friendly yet sassy. He complained about the system freezing as I was assigned to room 317 and asked for a higher floor, which had been in my reservation. Luckily he moved me to room 517 instead.
The room was clean, spacious, plenty of towels, and overall pleasant. The AC was off so I turned it on, went to dinner, and room was cool by time I returned. Some of the furniture was scuffed but they attempted repairs. For the price, the room was great, and I had a good stay. Everything worked!
Breakfast was fine, it was quite busy at 8:30am, but there were tables, and staff were present refilling everything, and keeping the area tidy. Not a fan of the eggs but there were plenty of choices. They should add a second waffle iron though as it was quite popular!
I will continue to visit this hotel when in the area for the great value and comfortable rooms. It isn't perfect but is more than sufficient especially for the price! Already have my next stay booked for October!
I enjoy getting dinner at the restaurant next door, it is fantastic, and reasonable prices! Although they seem to close at 9:30 now on Sundays. "
