This is a quite little place and owner operator is amazing. Rooms are always clean. Being directly on the gulf thats what we look for in this historical fishing community. After fishing on the gulf all day, you look for a clean bed, a cold/ hot shower to relax and that is exactly what we get every time.
Location was great. Hotel was in dire need of renovation. The room was supposed to be deluxe but was less than basic. I paid for a deluxe room. Hotels exterior was dirty and in need of a major refresh.
This place is amazing the view from the balcony outside of our room was spectacular. The location in town was perfect everything was with in walking distance would love to stay here again!!

Cedar Inn was the cutest hotel. The outside of each room is a different color. We had the purple room. Beds were comfy, AC worked great. The lady that checked us in was so friendly. Annie's is a must for some meal. We went for breakfast and it was delicious, all homemade. Fish bones is another good place for sandwiches. The locals are the friendliest, most welcoming town we've ever been in. Southern hospitality at its best. I cannot say enough about this little slice of paradise.
Adorable place great location. They’ve been hit hard by Helene but still determined to make everything as best they can. Super friendly

parking was easy & the small refrigerator & microwave were handy. Restaurants within walking distance as well as the boat ramp. Staff very friendly however the condition of the room was very poor. Exposed electrical outlets, smoke detector not activated, bathroom window had no screen & didn't lock properly, inside door frame was missing which allowed roaches and ants into the room.
Yes, very safe and a wonderful lady manning the desk. There was a cat in the parking lot, so it is pet-friendly- even if you don't bring one, there is one for you to play with.
Balcony view was decent, but sadly Cedar Key was hit very hard by Helene in 2024 and has not recovered well. Many restaurants /bars boarded up and for sale. Staff was not there when I arrived at 2:45 so I had a 10 -15 minute wait . Nicest place in the area was Island Hotel, their restaurant and Neptune Bar.
Cute little place with old style rooms. Plenty of room. Very clean. Shower was great. The staff was very welcoming and informative. Made us feel at home. Easy to walk to dinner and breakfast. Nice little town to walk around in.
The room was clean.
We had a TV, A/C, mini refrigerator, microwave.
We felt safe staying there.
The woman running it was a sweetie.
We loved the location and plan to return this fall and have actually already made our reservation with this motel.
Pet friendly. Conditions poor
Tub dirty, room unfinishrd

This is an older property. It is a clean basic room, reasonably priced. There is a terrific little restaraunt right next door.
The woman who owns the motel is accomodating and works very hard to keep it clean and maintained.
The 2nd Street Cafe is next door and is terrific.
