“We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.”

“Simple studio cottage in a quiet rural area near the charming and historic town of Lismore. Convenient distance from Waterford and coastal towns, as well as more inland towns of Cahir and Cashel. Friendly host Emil provided a comprehensive list of sights for day trips, restaurants and events, and instructions for the property. Good walking trails from both cottage and Lismore.”

“This property is truly beyond amazing. The accommodations were extremely comfortable. The amenities that the host provided were perfect for our needs. Eggs bread milk on hand for our first meal. The location just outside Kilmallock (a beautiful historic town) was perfect for day trips to Tipperary, Limerick, Cork and Kerry. We felt very much at home with the wonderful hostess and especially enjoyed the visits from Fizzy, Munchie and Crumbles - the pups!! The views of the lake including swans and……

“Truly cannot say enough about our stay here! From the views, to the house to the communication, all were stellar! Robert was incredibly communicative and helpful on all matters though there was nothing we needed for the house because he had it all! Waking up and having coffee in the front to the view was just as you would imagine. The pictures are truly what you get and more! Plenty of space for our whole group to spread out! Kids and adults included. Cleanliness is really important to us and……

“We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. We would definitely stay here……

“The place was perfect… absolutely lovely. Gillian and Kelley were very great with communication. Perfect for a short stay to visit family nearby.. near to town and Aldi for convenient grocery shopping. Hope to stay again!”

“very clean, very secure, good gym and electric car charging facilities. Guests should be made aware that it is "student residence accommodation" and as such is geared to service the student body as opposed to guests.”

“A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.”
