We booked because of the breakfast, however we never ate there. Very very small space in the lobby. Short hours. When we went, the one hot food cover had no food in it. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very clean. Very quiet.

Lakeview was absolutely beautiful. Jennifer and Brian were excellent hosts. The motel that we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The out door pool was excellent. The grounds were prestine. The view of the lake, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Cant wait to go back next year

A charming building in a historically interesting location. Restaurant was closed during my visit, though, and parking was inconvenient. Ended up with a very expensive dinner elsewhere. Probably a better choice for a long-term stay. Not particularly convenient for a stop-over on a road trip.

Great for what we needed. It was a pitstop on our way to Niagara for Labor Day weekend. The staff stayed in the office til almost midnight for us to make it up from Kentucky, even tho the office technically closes around 10-10:30.

This hurts a little to write, as i don't really like to complain. That said, we went out of our way to spend the extra money for the Kensington suite and the indoor Jacuzzi tub and were quite disappointed when rust came out of the spigots such that it stained both the water and the tub itself. Needless to say, we were not able to enjoy it. We told the front desk when we checked out and they... said nothing apart from that they'd alert maintenance. I know it's their off-season, but this resort has seen better days, I think. We didn't complain when the restaurant gave us the wrong order and took 20 minutes to get us the right one; we didn't complain about the lack of front desk staff when we checked in; but, the Jacuzzi tub pushed us over the edge, and the lack of any kind of offer to make thing right was a bridge too far. I certainly wasn't expecting to be comped for the night or anything that far, but no effort was made to rectify anything. Very disappointing, overall. The grounds are beautiful, the room has a very comfortable bed, but the facilities are lacking.
