"Stayed here prior to our cruise sailing. Walkable to terminal. We were so impressed. Lovely boutique and each room is unique and the attention to detail was superb. Delightful true Southampton feel with high end quality touches. We saw our ship from our window! The bar downstairs was cozy and dinner at the restaurant was a delicious finishing touch to our stay. "
"Me and my friend booked this place as it was quite close to where we shared a house as students 6 years ago and the charm was the same, for us it was a familiar and comfortable stay - the staff were lovely and helpful too, rooms were very nice and it was great value for the pricing.
If you don't mind a shared shower, toilets and kitchen area, definitely give it a go.
My one critique of the house was that the door locks were a little finicky, a few times me and a few other guests got stuck trying to get into rooms."

"Lovely space for our overnight stay with 2 kids and 2 adults. The ladder to kids bed is steep but they quickly figured it out! Excellent customer service and breakfast!"
"Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat.
Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well.

"Had a fantastic stay for business. Accommodation Central to everything. Needed to work on the isle of Wight, short (20mins) to the ferry. Host was every responsive to my questions. Would consider staying again for either business or a short break. "
"The woman managing the place was very kind and helpful. She gave us tips for walking around the area and finding restaurants. When we had a little trouble with transportation for our cruise, she contacted a local taxi company who was there in 5 minutes. It made our day much less stressful. Thank you very much! "

"Accommodation was adequate, clean, facilities worked and fans provided. Hot water and powerful shower. Down sides, walls very thin so noisy from other guests, house generally run down, felt a little uneasy in the area. Given the price it wasn’t value for money imo. Problems getting my refundable damage deposit back despite being a single mature lady staying alone for a w/e boating course and leaving the room in immaculate condition. Wouldn’t my stay again or recommend."
