"Every year I spend a week with my four older grandchildren. We call it Camp T-Ma. (T-Ma is my grandmother name) The kids loved the river, climbing on the rocks, swimming and fishing. They camped out, or tried to, one night in a tent. We went to Grandfather Mountain, and then hiked a great trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Another day we drove to Damascus to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. The hot tub was a big hit! We loved it!!! "

"This property was nice for our little getaway! I loved the retro vibe of the house and the kitchen table is beautiful! The kitchen appliances have been updated since the posted pictures. We stayed on the main level and didn’t even go downstairs. We actually were on the go most of our trip and didn’t spend a lot of time at the house! "Loved staying at the Hobbs house. Location was fantastic, walking distance to restaurants and general store. If your skiing, you are right on the slopes. House had all the amenities you needed including a large gathering room with fireplace and wonderful views. Highly recommend staying here."

"We were in town for our son to tour App State in July. It happened to be an absolute downpour of a weekend and we were still able to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor movie screen and there was plenty of comfortable interior space. The grilling deck and fire pit on the top deck looked awesome but we didn’t get to use.
