“Such a cute boutique inn. The mill waterfall was relaxing and the views were great. The restaurant had live music playing on the patio, it was all such a pleasant experience”

“Breakfast was not self-serve. You had to sit down and wait for someone to come around and take your order, then prepare it. It cost me about 20 minutes in the morning. Plus, you had to pay extra for anything with eggs. For a hotel of this type, I would've expected a self-serve, continental breakfast.”

“Wheeler's Inn was a great place to stay! It's perfect for hikers, having free water, snacks, coffee or tea, a cozy sitting area and a front porch with rockers. Guests have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom. Great beds and plenty of towels and toiletries available. I'll definitely be staying here again when I'm section hiking in the area.”

“Very clean and so peaceful. The owner takes pride in the property. It’s very well maintained and the rooms are very modern. While I was here, there was a storm and we lost power. The owner was on top of everything, making sure his guests were well informed about when the power would be restored. You can’t beat the views. It’s surrounded by pastures but is close to shopping and of course the Virginia Creeper Trail head in Abingdon. I will definitely stay here again!”
