“Neskowin is a beautiful area! The beaches are nice and not crowded. We saw seals and pelicans. The place we stayed was nice. It says pet-friendly, but it could be more so. The pet area is right next to the higway and not well-lit. The railing on the deck does not come all the way down, leaving quite a large gap. Yes, there is a sign telling visitors to not leave pets unattended on the deck. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot. Location was great!”

“For our family of 5, Jan's Place was a perfect vacation weekend getaway. The place is immaculate and well-furnished. Comfy beds, awesome showers, and spectacular view of the beach and ocean from the 2nd floor balcony. Shops and restaurants and beach access within minutes of walking. Rockaway Beach is a small, cozy coastal town with lots to do within short driving distances. We greatly enjoyed the small town 4th celebrations - parade on Main St, the wiener dog races and fabulous fireworks show....

“The unit was clean and comfortable. Great base to adventure from. Rockaway beach is not overrun and the unit is quiet. The Indian food truck beside it is great. The place was as advertised. A small older motel. Like many beach motels it shows wear but it was clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive. ”

“Everything was great except we did not get enough towels. We only received two bath and one hand towel, no washcloths. Other than that it was a nice, clean space. ”

“The property is as described and the pictures are accurate. It’s not fancy but it is clean and the bed is comfortable. The location is across the street from the beach and can easily walk to restaurants, etc. Also, communication with host is easy thru text. Checkin instructions were emailed with the code and the checkout instructions were simple. Highly recommend. ”
