Dean was very helpful and responsive. The property is much better than the pictures lead you to believe. The stream is just steps from the back door and there is a second floor balcony that i was not expecting. I saw no other humans during my whole stay (this was a goal) but i did see lots of deer and turkeys. There is complete privacy with only the sights and sounds of nature. The cabin is immaculate, well maintained, and had everything we needed. It's an extra bonus that it is environmentally conscious. Mostly, I was there to unplug and I ventured out for rafting, kayaking, hiking and biking. Nearby, there were plenty of beautiful pastoral vistas, a rail trail and the gorgeous Youghiogheny river. . When I needed to plug-in I was able to work remotely on the Wi-Fi. connection. Video and voice calls were no problem. The cabin remained cool, around 76 degrees, in the heat of late July. Clean bedding made for amazing sleep during the cooler nights. One interesting note is that the cabin super efficient. The hosts have really done their homework. Stream-powered electric and clean UV-irradiated stream water were just a couple of their efforts to ensure that the cabin's environmental footprint was small. I was very impressed A very well-equipped kitchen and a great gas stove provided me with all the space and gear I needed to cook great meals. The hosts were communicative and accommodating.
