"The staff at the Comfort Inn are wonderful. The rooms are clean and quiet. Everything works and the shampoo and soap is good. Breakfast is included (nothing special). The coffee in the room is good and included and there is always half and half available. You can walk to Applebee's. Shaws is a quick drive across the street and there is a gas station close by."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lake’s End! Alex made check-in a breeze. The house was extremely clean and spacious, very comfortable for relaxing with the family. We especially loved the chef’s style kitchen with plenty of well stocked items for cooking. Enjoyed using the canoe on the lake and swimming at the resident beach. The views were spectacular and location was perfect for paddle boarding and fishing off the dock. "

"My boyfriend and I wanted to have a little weekend getaway to celebrate our two year anniversary together. We both love nature and thought this would be a good place. When we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by what was in front of us. Eric was so polite and met with us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions we had. We cooked meals over the campfire, we swam in the river, and we enjoyed every second of the peaceful atmosphere around us. I have never seen so many stars out in one night! We were sad to have had to come home and we will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend Baker River Rentals enough! "

"I went to Song Sparrow Cottage to work on a novel. I left with a few good chapters in my laptop and the lingering sense of a place that is gloriously away from the maddening crowd. I am infused with the stillness of the early mornings and evenings, the songs of the sparrows, finches and doves, the kaleidoscope of colors in the flower gardens where monarchs, swallowtails and hummingbirds dance, the tamed and untamed meadows, and the pools of sunlight on the forest floor. I am rested, too; the cottage, with its many wood accents and rustic décor, is a perfect setting for renewal. This is not a tourist destination. It is a place where one can walk or ski a woodland trail, have a drink by the fire of a wood stove, sit on the porch and take in the rolling peaks and valleys and gentle blue sky, or make a meal in the fully appointed kitchen. Song Sparrow Cottage may seem like it’s not very close to anywhere but its right down a country road to heaven. "

"Skiers favorite studio has everything you need for a weekend getaway. My dog and I enjoyed a spot on the river with many places to hangout for a swim, and Eric was a very kind and welcoming host. I would definitely book again and recommend!"
